I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
