Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial important achievement of his distinguished career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
